Ch. Manit's Somebody to Love

Celina is a MAGNIFICENT bitch whom I have been wanting for so long. She is so well put together, faultless topline, great shoulder placement, great angles, sound mover, beautiful headpiece, and an excellent harsh banded coat. Top all of this with a wonderful schnauzer temperament... proud, fearless, always happy.

Celina on the move! At Montgomery 2010 she took her Sweepstake 6-9 Puppy class (her other two sisters went 2nd and 3rd). She was only shown at the Devon and Montgomery County shows, and Mr. Edd Bivin had very nice things to say about her. At her first show the weekend prior to Montgomery, in very stiff competition, Celina went Reserve Winners Bitch to a 4-point major from the puppy class at only seven months of age. I received wonderful comments from fellow breeders both weekends. She will be coming out again in spring 2011, hopefully. In this picture you can see her very powerful movement and correct reach and drive; it is a joy to see her move!!

Celina shown winning a 5-pt. major under Judge Alfred Ferruggiaro!

Celina was awarded a FIVE-point major under Judge Alfred Ferruggiaro when he pointed to her as his "Winners Bitch" and then in the Best of Breed Competition gave her "Best of Opposite Sex" going over a few bitches being specialed during 2011. Thank you, Mr. Ferruggiaro, for the nice words you had to say about Celina.

Celina shown winning a 4-pt. major under Judge Linda Lore!

In 2011, "Celina" was Winners Bitch at Hatboro 2 Kennel Club under judge Linda Lore for a 4-point major, and Reserve Winners Bitch at Montgomery County Kennel Club under judge Wyoma Clouss.

Celina shown winning her 3rd major under judge Gary Doerge!

The weekend prior to Great Western Terrier Association, as a warm-up for GWTA, I showed Celina on Sunday where she picked up her third major under judge Mr. Gary L. Doerge, going "Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex" while defeating a Specials bitch. Mr. Doerge LOVED Celina (and Manit's Under Pressure, AKA Freddie, who was BOW) and he told me: "Keep up your breeding program; excellent job." I will never forget this; it meant more than the winning I had just done. Thank you so much, Mr. Doerge.

New Champion Manit's Somebody To Love, shown with judge Desmond Murphy and award presenters, Linda Drost (Attaway MS) and the President of the Southern California Miniature Schnauzer Club, Kathy Colby (Kwic MS).

Well, Celina did it again! She completed her AKC championship at Great Western 2012 at the "Southern California Miniature Schnauzer Specialty" with a 5-point major under judge Mr. Desmond Murphy. It was such a thrill to finish Celina at this show with such stiff competition and under this well-respected judge. Celina defeated 25 class bitches... and I am telling you it was a beautiful line-up!!! Thank you so very much, Mr. Murphy, for such a great award. You made a dream come true!!!

Celina shown winning 2nd Award of Merit under judge Lynda Berar!

As I said, the following weekend at GWTA Celina completed her title with four majors with little showing. Celina was shown basically at specialty weekends. Sunday at GWTA at the AMSC National Specialty, under breeder-judge Mrs. Lynda Berar (Naibara Miniature Schnauzers), we were "Second Award of Merit". This was Celina's second day as a Special and in VERY stiff competition. I want to thank Mrs. Berar for honoring me with this award; it has meant so much to me!!!
Celina showning her heart out prior to her win.

Celina is now the fourth to finish her championship from her litter. Four girls...four Champions and one Grand Champion...WOW! Thank you, LORD!!

Celina will now be shown as a Special only at specialty shows.

Ch. Joker Land's Glacyka

Celina has been bred to Ch. Joker Land's Glacyka, AKA "Joy". Hopefully, Celina is due the first week of Feb. 2013, and there will be some beautiful, healthy, loving puppies.

Joy is a GORGEOUS dog, as you can see from his picture. He was "Best of Breed" from the classes two out of the three days at Great Western 2012. The first day he was "Best of Winners", and Celina was "Winners Bitch". Joy not only is a handsome boy, but he has an unbelievable pedigree containing dogs that have not been in the States for such a long time, and that are not easy to find in pedigrees here, such as Ch. Awesome's Repitition Obenezer, Ch. Regency's Storm Tracker, and a dog that I have always liked and who was probably was not used as much as he should have been, Ch. Awesome's Carolz Choice. I would like to thank Joy's breeder/owner Masami Uryu and his co-owner John Constantine for allowing this breeding to take place. Forever grateful !!
