Ch. Manit's Sonata Appassionata Mov1

Ch. Manit's Sonata Appassionata Mov1 .

Ch. Manit's Sonata Appassionata Mov1 .Melody is the offspring of a very special girl. I sold her dam, Ch. Manit's Serenade for Blythewood, to Joan Huber, always thinking that I should have kept her. She was sold under the condition that I would pick her sire for a breeding and would get pick of the litter. Joan followed through, and when the puppies were 9-weeks-old, I came home with this sweet, outgoing, friendly, confident, happy, beautiful puppy. Melody still had her floppy ears that I probably should have left because they were so well-set, but I wanted a striking look with her gorgeous expression.

As I said, Melody is out of Serenade, a typey schnauzer with wonderful structure in every way, and sired by one of my favorite dogs, Ch. Caylaway's Cool Hand Luke. Luke is a stud that I had used before and I loved what I got, and I was sure it was going to be the same result again... and it was.

Ch. Manit's Sonata Appassionata Mov1 .Melody is a very typey schnauzer, elegant but with substance, extraordinary expression, faultless movement. She has a coat to die for, and all this with the most loving personality. In addition, she has an unbeatable pedigree.

We went to Schnauzapalooza 2013, that being Melody's very first shows... and out of three shows, she won the 12-18 month-old bitch class under a very stiff competition of 15 others. Melody walked in the ring like she knew what she had to do... what fun !!!!

Melody will be at Montgomery 2013, and I am hoping to have some more fun with her. I will keep you posted, so come back and check. Pictures are from Schnauzapalooza 2013.

I finally decided to finish my beautiful Melody. She picked up 14 points including 3 majors, two of them going Best of Breed over specials and one of those times was at the Twin Cities Miniature Schnauzer Specialty 2014 !! I'd like to thank judges William Potter, Richard Powell, and specialty judge Darryl Vice. I am getting her ready to hopefully pick up that remaining single point between Nov-Dec 2014. Come back then to see if Melody is a new Champion. Until then, keep fingers crossed.

Melody has finished her championship! Thank you, judge Mr.Terry Stacy !! This makes Melody's dam a "Top Producer" for the breed, and, I believe, the 11th champion for her sire.

I am looking forward to Melody's first litter in 2015, and I am still considering a couple of possible sires for this breeding.
